2026 Annual Catholic Appeal  •  Apelo Anual Católico 

The theme for the 2026 Catholic Appeal, the 85th in the Diocese of Fall River, is “Peace-Let It Begin with Me,”  speaks directly to the call of the Gospel. It reminds us that the mission of the Church begins not somewhere else, but with each of us — through prayer, generosity, and a commitment to serve one another. At the heart of this theme is peace: peace in our hearts, peace in our families, peace in our communities, and peace in our world.

Since 1942, the Catholic Appeal has helped people in all phases of life – from children, to youth, to parents, to the elderly. Your support sustains the numerous agencies, programs, and ministries of the Diocese of Fall River providing food and shelter, educating children and adults, and meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of thousands. We encourage you to support the Appeal as generously as you can.  You can make a one-time gift or a pledge with convenient payments throughout the year. You can give by mail, use a contribution card located in church, or make your gift or pledge online at: www.GiveFRDiocese.org.  The campaign runs from Friday, May 1 - Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Once again, the Diocese has an incentive program, providing a monetary award for parishes who meet a specific fundraising goal, including our own. This year, the diocese will award the top parishes with the greatest percentage of families who contribute. Thus, it does not matter how much a parish gives, but rather the more parishioners who participate will help the parish to receive extra funds.  Any money raised would go to our continuing Church Renovation Fund.
